Pre-Owned Alfa Romeo Giulia Models for Sale near Darien, CT
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a difficult car to categorize using the usual comparisons. It is not simply a sport sedan with Italian styling grafted onto a German chassis formula. The Giulia was engineered from the ground up to drive differently, with rear-wheel drive as the default, a carbon fiber driveshaft as standard equipment across every trim, and a DNA drive mode system calibrated specifically for each powertrain. For buyers near Darien, CT who have been considering the Giulia, understanding which trim and configuration actually matches how you drive matters more than it does with most competitors. The pre-owned market gives you access to a wider spread of those configurations than the new car lot on any given day.
Alfa Romeo of Greenwich at 321 West Putnam Ave in Greenwich is the authorized Alfa Romeo dealer closest to Darien and part of the Miller Motorcars group, which represents some of the most prestigious marques in the world including Ferrari, Bentley, McLaren, Bugatti, Maserati, Pagani, Aston Martin, and Rolls-Royce. The Alfa Romeo operation carries that same standard of presentation and expertise into a more accessible price bracket, and their pre-owned Giulia inventory reflects genuine depth in the model.
The Giulia Engine Story: Two Powertrains, Very Different Purposes
Every pre-owned Giulia search eventually comes back to one question: the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, or the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 Quadrifoglio. These are not different tunes of the same fundamental car. They are two distinct driving experiences sharing a platform.
The 2.0L Turbocharged Four-Cylinder
This engine powers the Sprint, Ti, Lusso, Veloce, Estrema, and Competizione variants and produces 280 horsepower with best-in-class torque for a premium import midsize sedan. Fuel economy on rear-wheel-drive examples reaches 24 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. The top speed is 149 mph. An eight-speed automatic handles shifts, and buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and Q4 all-wheel drive depending on the trim. The 2.0L Giulia is the version that makes sense for Fairfield County winters when driven daily, particularly in Q4 AWD specification.
The 2.9L Twin-Turbo V6 Quadrifoglio
The Quadrifoglio uses a Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 505 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, driving rear wheels only through an eight-speed automatic. The 0-60 mph time is 3.8 seconds and top speed is 191 mph. This engine was developed in collaboration with Ferrari engineers and retains a character that turbocharged four-cylinders in this class simply do not replicate: a linear power delivery combined with an exhaust note that the dual-mode quad exhaust system makes impossible to ignore at full acceleration. The Quadrifoglio also carries an active aero front splitter, Brembo high-performance brakes, and the Alfa DNA Pro drive mode system with an exclusive Race mode that deactivates traction and stability controls for circuit use.
Alfa Romeo of Greenwich carries both powertrain configurations in pre-owned inventory. The Giulia Quadrifoglio comparison page on their site is worth reviewing before visiting, as it outlines how the Quadrifoglio stacks up against the BMW M3, Mercedes-AMG C63, and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing in the performance sedan category.
Giulia Trim Levels Worth Knowing in the Pre-Owned Market
Ti and Veloce
The Ti is the volume trim of the Giulia lineup and the one that appears most frequently in pre-owned searches. It adds leather seating, heated front seats, and a higher-grade infotainment setup over the base Sprint. The Veloce is a sport-focused step up from the Ti, adding adaptive suspension, a sport-tuned exhaust, and visual differentiation through standard 19-inch wheels and specific exterior badging. For buyers who want the 2.0L engine with more driving engagement than the Ti provides, the Veloce is often the smarter pre-owned purchase.
Estrema and Competizione
These trims were introduced in the current generation as limited-availability performance packages. The Estrema adds a carbon fiber exterior package, fixed sport seats, and a Brembo carbon-ceramic brake option that mirrors the Quadrifoglio equipment. The Competizione serves a similar brief. Pre-owned examples of these trims are less common than Ti and Veloce, and they tend to carry higher prices for the equipment they include.
Quadrifoglio and Quadrifoglio Special Editions
The standard Quadrifoglio is the most consistent performer in the pre-owned market for buyers who want the V6. Special editions including the Carbon, the 100th Anniversary Edition, and it appeared in limited numbers and command premiums commensurate with their rarity. If a specific Quadrifoglio specification is not currently visible in the full inventory at Alfa Romeo of Greenwich, the Car Finder tool allows buyers to set up an alert for when a matching vehicle is added.
The 2025 Giulia Pre-Owned: An Early-Turnover Opportunity
Alfa Romeo of Greenwich has a pre-owned 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia currently in inventory (Stock LW1011A), which represents an unusual opportunity in the pre-owned market. Early-turnover current-generation cars retain the full factory feature set including the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, the 8.8-inch multi-touch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and front and rear park assist while arriving at a pre-owned price point rather than new MSRP. For Darien-area buyers who want a current-generation Giulia without the wait and markup that new inventory can carry, this is worth inquiring about directly.
Why Buying a Pre-Owned Giulia Through an Authorized Alfa Romeo Dealer Matters
Alfa Romeos are not complicated to maintain when maintained by people who know them. They are unforgiving of neglect or incorrect service intervals. A pre-owned Giulia with a complete, documented service history from an authorized dealer is a fundamentally different purchase from one that has been serviced inconsistently at a general shop.
Alfa Romeo of Greenwich operates as part of Miller Motorcars, a group dedicated to the finest in new and pre-owned motorcars since the dealership was founded. Their service team works specifically on the brands they sell, which means the technicians inspecting a pre-owned Giulia before it enters inventory understand the car at a level that a multi-brand shop cannot match. The dealership also operates a dedicated body shop and roadside assistance program for post-purchase ownership support.
Buyers with a current vehicle can use the trade-in valuation tool before visiting. Financing is available through the Finance Center with a dedicated finance application that can be completed before the visit. For buyers who want to review current pricing incentives, the lease specials page covers available programs on Giulia models.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
