Alfa Romeo engineers have created the optimal vehicle for those demanding high levels of performance and utility. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is an SUV with the heart of a high-performance hot-blooded racing machine. Always on the attack with up to 505 horsepower, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio backs down to no one.
Q4 ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE (AWD) SYSTEM
The Q4 AWD System inspires driving confidence for nearly every road and every condition. Stomp on the pedal and experience the true power of torque vectoring, which provides exceptional traction and control by distributing power to each rear wheel. Q4 AWD distributes the massive power generated by the Stelvio Quadrifoglio engine to each rear wheel individually, helping deliver excellent grip and traction and providing drivers confident control across nearly all road conditions. Change gears almost instantaneously without ever taking your hands off the wheel.
TAKE CORNERS WITH CONFIDENCE
The double wishbone front suspension system on the Stelvio Quadrifoglio helps keep its wheels perpendicular to the road when tackling the tightest of corners. Hit the steering wheel-mounted ignition button and 505 horses roar to life, ready to take you from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The all-aluminum 2.9L turbocharged V6 engine gives the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, and you, truly incredible power. What makes the ultimate SUV perform so flawlessly? What’s under the hood. And everything else. Sporting muscular curves and fluid lines, this SUV joins function to form, and pushes performance to new heights. No corner is too tight in the Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Tackle every turn with confidence thanks to the SUV’s 12:0:1 steering ratio and semi-virtual steering axis.
SYMBOL OF SUCCESS
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio was named the Performance Utility Vehicle of Texas as voted on by the Texas Auto Writers Association. The impressive power-to-weight ratio of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio can be attributed to its use of lightweight and high-tech materials, like carbon fiber for the driveshaft. Awaken your senses each time you grip the wheel and hit the alluring race-inspired red engine start button. Once in motion, instantly change the driving behavior of your Stelvio Quadrifoglio by selecting your preferred Driving Mode: Dynamic, Natural, Advanced Efficiency or Race. Selecting Race Mode activates the overboost function for increased torque, so you can experience the exhilaration of 505 horsepower. Frustrated by a series of second-place finishes, famed Alfa Romeo race car driver Ugo Sivocci decided to paint a four-leaf clover within a square on his Alfa Romeo. Whether it was luck or Sivocci’s superb skill behind the wheel of an exceptional machine, he won first place.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
