Alfa Romeo of Greenwich offers the new 2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia, a sport sedan that pairs Italian design with real driving fun at a price that stays competitive. If you’re near Norwalk and want a luxury sedan with more personality than the usual choices, the Giulia belongs on your shortlist.
This guide covers what’s new for 2026, how the Giulia performs, and why it’s one of the better values among sport sedans.
What Is the Alfa Romeo Giulia?
The Giulia is Alfa Romeo’s compact sport sedan. It has been on sale in its modern form since the brand’s revival in 2015, and it has earned a loyal following among drivers who care about feel as much as features. Where many sedans chase comfort alone, the Giulia is built to be enjoyed.
The sedan is known for sharp steering, balanced handling, and a design that looks special from every angle. It’s also a car that stands out in a parking lot full of familiar silhouettes.
What’s New for the 2026 Giulia
For 2026, the Giulia carries over largely unchanged from the previous year. One review notes that it continues from 2025 unchanged except for a slight price increase. That is good news for shoppers. A proven design with a refined powertrain means fewer surprises and a car that’s already well sorted.
Highlights for the 2026 model year include:
- A turbocharged engine with strong, usable power
- Standard Q4 all-wheel drive for added traction
- An available Veloce Package that sharpens the car’s sporty character

Performance: Italian Character With Everyday Usability
A Strong Turbocharged Engine
The Giulia is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 280 horsepower. The power builds quickly and feels responsive, which suits both city traffic and open highways. Expect a 0–60 mph time of roughly five seconds, which is quick for a sedan in this class.
Q4 All-Wheel Drive
For 2026, the Giulia is offered with standard Q4 all-wheel drive and a 280-horsepower turbo engine. That’s valuable in Connecticut, where rain, snow, and slippery roads are part of the calendar. All-wheel drive helps you put the power down with confidence, whatever the weather.
The Veloce Package
Drivers who want a sharper edge can add the Veloce Package, which includes both visual and performance components. Reports on the package describe it as designed to sharpen the car’s sporty character and dynamic precision, helped by a limited-slip differential. If you want your sedan to feel more purposeful on a winding road, it’s worth considering.
Handling and Steering
The Giulia has long been praised for its quick, communicative steering and well-balanced chassis. It turns in eagerly and feels light on its feet. On a twisting road, it rewards a driver who enjoys engaging with the car. On the highway, it settles down and cruises comfortably.
Design and Interior
Alfa Romeo’s design language is unmistakable. The Giulia’s shield grille, long hood, and sculpted body give it a distinct presence. It looks athletic even when parked.
Inside, the cabin focuses on the driver. You’ll find supportive seating, a clear instrument display, and a layout that keeps controls within easy reach. A touchscreen infotainment system and modern connectivity features help keep daily driving simple.
As with any car in this segment, trim and package choices affect the look and feel of the interior. Visit the showroom to see the available materials and colors in person.
Safety and Technology
Today’s shoppers expect a sedan to be safe and connected, and the Giulia delivers on both. Available driver-assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control, help reduce fatigue on long drives. Standard all-wheel drive and a well-tuned chassis add to the car’s confidence in poor weather.
Specific safety and technology features vary by trim and package. Ask the team to walk you through what’s included on the model you’re considering.
Why the Giulia Is a Great Value
Price is a major reason shoppers are looking at the Giulia. Published pricing for the 2026 model has been reported in a range of roughly $50k to $60. Those are starting figures, and final prices depend on trim, options, and incentives.
For that money, you get several things that rivals often charge extra for:
- Standard all-wheel drive, which is often optional elsewhere
- A strong turbo engine with 280 horsepower
- A distinctive design you won’t see on every street
- A warranty that covers the car for four years or 50,000 miles
- An engaging driving feel that many competitors struggle to match
A Giulia doesn’t just compete on specs. It offers an experience, and that matters if you actually enjoy driving.
Who Is the Giulia For?
The Alfa Romeo Giulia suits drivers who want more from a sedan. It’s a strong match if you:
- Want a luxury sport sedan without paying a premium for a German badge
- Value style and personality as much as features
- Drive in all kinds of weather and want all-wheel drive
- Enjoy winding roads and responsive steering
- Prefer something less common than the usual choices
Tips for Buying a New Giulia
A little preparation helps you get the best deal:
- Decide on your trim and packages. Think about whether the Veloce Package is right for you.
- Compare available colors and interiors. Alfa Romeo offers striking options.
- Ask about current incentives. Manufacturer offers and dealer specials can change pricing.
- Discuss financing or leasing. The team can outline your options.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
